Scaffold Inspections
CISRS-certified scaffold inspections, weekly checks, and post-weather assessments across Greater Manchester.
Scaffold Inspections by Certified Experts
Scaffold inspections are a legal requirement under the Work at Height Regulations 2005. Every scaffold must be inspected before first use, after any alteration, after any event that could affect its stability, and at least every seven days while in use. Bee Scaffolding Manchester provides CISRS-certified scaffold inspection services across Greater Manchester, ensuring your scaffolds remain safe, compliant, and fully documented.
What Our Inspections Cover
Our scaffold inspections are thorough and systematic. We examine every component of the scaffold — foundations, standards, ledgers, transoms, braces, boards, guard rails, toe boards, ties, and access points. We check for structural damage, wear, corrosion, missing components, and unauthorised modifications. We assess the scaffold's stability against current load conditions and weather exposure.
Every inspection is documented with a written report that includes photographs, defect descriptions, and recommended corrective actions. For compliant scaffolds, we issue a handover certificate and attach the statutory inspection tag. For scaffolds with defects, we provide a priority-rated action list and can arrange immediate remedial works.

Scaffold Inspections Across Greater Manchester
Our inspection teams cover every district in Greater Manchester. In Manchester city centre, we inspect commercial scaffolds on busy streets where public safety is paramount and council compliance is strictly monitored.
Salford and Trafford industrial sites require regular inspections for heavy-duty scaffolds that carry substantial material loads and multiple trades.
Stockport residential scaffolds on steep slopes and exposed sites need frequent weather-related inspections during the autumn and winter months.
Bury, Rochdale, and Bolton heritage building scaffolds require inspections that pay special attention to the gentle anchors and protective measures used on listed structures.
In Oldham and the Pennine foothills, we conduct enhanced inspections after every named storm and severe weather event, given the exposure of hillside scaffolds to extreme wind conditions.
Inspection Areas We Cover
